Extra Money

Every spring around March or April, after the accounting department wraps up the fiscal year, they pay bonus to each employee, from the directors down to the retail store employees. It's a percentage of one's total anual income, factoring in extra hours you worked (for salaried employees) and how much profit they had this year.
So, I was left with a bit of extra disposable income, and the possibilites are many. This is the kind of windfall where one pays off old credit card debt or something, but being a paragon of fiscal responsibilty (sort of) I have no debt beyond some easily mangaged student loans and a lease on a car. I could put it in savings, which is probably the most responsible thing to do. after a long enough time, that could be turned into a money market account, certificate of deposit, be used to buy a house. or just go toward a rainy day fund. My future is worthwhile investment. Or....

Playstation 3

I could go out and buy a Playstation 3. C'mon. what did you THINK I was going to do with it?

I have to say, fuzzy, I'm disappointed in your decision. I would have figured you'd be more sensible than that. An XBox 360 is a much better purchase!

XBox? bleh. I mean, you'd have a point if you admonished me for chosing it over a Wii, but I don't like the the XBox feature where you have a 5% chance to brick your console every time you turn it on.

Plus, Playstation3 is backwards compatable with all PSOne and PS2 games, While the XBox. Is... maybe compatable... with some games... but not the ones you want. Booo...

The only reason why the XBox was at one point a better deal is because the PS3 had a $600 price tag, while it's competitors cost maybe 400, and it had a lack of Killer apps, or even Moderatly Violent apps, which is constantly becomming less and less of a problem right now.

So, cram it, fanboy, or at least give me a good reason why the XBox is soooo much better. :-)

Actually I have been told there are about 250 PS2 games that will not play on the PS3 and they are proably all the games I have.
